Where did the time go?
Some how time slipped away and we haven't been updating our blog. Today Jazzy took 6 steps...she's been standing and taking a step or two for about a week or so. Justina has lots of pics on her facebook account of Jazz. The scam moving company we used FINALLY delivered our air compressor and gas grill today. They were "lost" when the items were moved from one truck to another. Job has been going good. Lots of work to do, but the hours are fairly light. The house we are renting is very nice. We close on selling our house in North Liberty tomorrow....YEAH! Didn't pay a realtor and got a reasonable price (more than what we bought it for a few years ago before the crash). Justina had hurt her back and was laid up for a few weeks in Feb, but is 90% better. Been going to the gym...$7/mo! Have my garage mostly set-up. Drake has been planting tons of things in the back yard. We have nice rose bushes that have big beautiful roses. The boys ride their bikes about 2min to school (7min walk). They have some friends int he neighborhood they play with regularly. We found a small church that we like, but Justina wants to meet more moms, so we're planning to check some other churches and look for some activities. Maybe we'll two-time :)

Laundromat
So apparently in the state of California when you buy a new house or rent an apartment etc. the refrigerator, dishwasher and stove are typically left, but people NEVER leave the the washer and dryer?! I put it off long enough and needed to do laundry. Had to go to a few laundromats before I found one with a wifi signal.
Met a guy at work Friday who I have quite a bit in common with. Went to an indoor gun range last night and shot is .45 Glock with another coworker. Hung out and played video games afterwards...the world of not having kids!
Raining here, but still nice enough that you see people here and there in t-shirts and shorts. Going to head home now and work on the mustang a little bit...preventive maintenance. Also need to figure out how I'm going to pass a smog test!! :) Excited that the fam is going to fly out Feb 1st! Got another lead on selling the house. The potential buyers are represented by former Hawk and NBA player Acie Earl. I told Justina she should have had him autograph something :) Justina said she never saw anyone so tall...he's 6'11". Ha!

Painting, Packing and Cleaning
So the last 6 or so days have been busy busy busy. I started by finishing the painting which took 3 days. Then Throwing things in boxes and moving the boxes into the garage. As I'm packing and clearing out the room I'm able to take a picture of it and post on the website. I posted an ad in the press-citizen for the house and found some free websites. Please say a prayer for us that we'll be able to sell the house quickly and not have a Feb house payment and rent in CA.
